Respite

We offer 24-hour respite care to support both clients and carers. Respite gives clients opportunities for social interaction and engagement, while carers can take a short break from their caring role. Respite can be provided in your home or at our centre, for a few hours, overnight, or as a short stay for planned breaks or emergencies. This support allows carers to rest, knowing the person they care for is safe, supported, and well cared for.

Social Support and Community Engagement

At the Toowoomba Multi Service Centre, we help older people stay connected, confident, and engaged. Support is tailored to individual needs and may include one-on-one support, help to attend social activities or appointments, and opportunities to build meaningful connections. These services support independence, reduce social isolation, and help people continue to feel part of their community in a safe and welcoming environment.

Domestic assistance

We provide support with everyday household tasks to help you stay safe, comfortable, and independent in your own home. Domestic assistance may include help with cleaning, laundry, changing bed linen, and simple meal preparation. Our staff work with you to understand your routines and preferences, ensuring support is provided in a respectful and flexible way. This assistance helps reduce the physical demands of household tasks, allowing you to focus your time and energy on the things that matter most to you.

Personal care

We support older people to live safely and independently at home. Personal care services are tailored to individual needs and may include help with showering, dressing, and grooming as well as medication management. Our staff provide support with respect, dignity, and sensitivity, helping people feel comfortable and confident in their daily routines.

Allied health and therapeutic services

Funded allied health services, such as physiotherapy, podiatry, and speech therapy are available to residents In the local area and aim to maintain or restore wellness and independence.
