At Alzheimer’s Queensland, we recognise diagnosis of dementia introduces many new changes and challenges, not only for the person affected, but also for those who care for them.
Pivotal to our training program is the provision of practical advice on how to meet the daily needs, and provide physical and emotional support to, an individual living with dementia, to enable them to continue to lead independent, socially active, and healthy lives.
