Aged Care Planning: Steps, Tips & Support

Person writing notes

One of the areas to consider when planning your care is the future medical treatment that you may or may not want to receive.

You can ensure your wishes are known by completing an Advanced Health Directive (or Advanced Care Plan) and once completed is a legal document that allows you to give directions about your future health treatment if you are in any way incapacitated.

For more information, please see the Advanced Care Planning Australia website.

This website has information about the nature and content of advanced care planning and the necessary steps that need to be undertaken by you to ensure that your wishes are accommodated when you may not be able to directly express those wishes.
