DACS provides access to a broad range of allied health services and professionals with the goal of improving an individual’s general wellbeing, maintaining their physical and psychological function and to assist with recovery and reablement, if required.
Our allied health services include access to occupational therapists, physiotherapists, exercise physiologists, speech pathologists, dietitians, nutritionists, psychologists and social workers. We also offer falls prevention and dementia specific programs.
Our allied health and therapy services include:
- Providing in-home or centre-based physiotherapy, occupational therapy or exercise physiology
- Walking programs
- Falls prevention programs
- Prescribing aides and equipment, or assistive technology to facilitate daily activities, such as mobility and eating.
