Welcome to our brand-new Alzheimer’s Queensland website

We are delighted to officially re-launch today our Alzheimer’s Queensland website. We’ve worked hard to ensure our new website is easier to navigate and more user-friendly, to give you a better understanding of who we are, what we do, and how you can access our extensive range of services.

We will be updating our blog regularly with useful information on dementia and Alzheimer’s disease, updates from our homes and Multi Service Centres to allow you to see what our residents have been up to, as well as other relevant news and announcements.

Founded in 2003, we are Australia’s largest dementia association, and we also cater to older Australians requiring loving care and support.

As a fully ‘inclusive’ organisation, we strive to create meaningful lives, by tailoring a person’s living arrangements and lifestyle to best meet their needs.

We are a progressive, not-for-profit organisation providing a comprehensive and bespoke suite of world-class aged care services, delivered by more than 500 allied healthcare professionals, registered nurse care, expert lifestyle, community respite and hospitality and domestic personnel.

Our services include community respite (in home and centre care), home care packages, specialist dementia care services, education and training, and a national, 24/7 Dementia helpline operated by healthcare professionals.

In addition to the range of services we offer across Queensland, we have also compiled a plethora of resources and factsheets on dementia and Alzheimer’s disease to arm individuals, especially carers, with information on dementia and valuable tips on how to look after those living with the disease. These can be found under the ‘About Dementia’ tab on our website.

We trust you will enjoy exploring our new website. Should you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
